#214 Pampered

We have been accused of pampering and spoiling the feline owners of our home.

 I don't understand how that happened!

Garfunkel will snuggle in the cubicle if it is on the couch. So cute, which is

why it is so easy to pamper him (and Simon).

#92 Eyes

Rupert with his human, my daughter. They both have beautiful eyes!

#16 Bathtime

Simon balances on his bum while cleaning his tummy. 

#17 Bed Time

For my boys, Simon (gray) and Garfunkel (orange) most of the time is bed time. Unless it's eating time, which is also frequent as Simon's bulk will attest. He's an energy conserver.

#56 Comfy & Cozy

Cats in cushions, which are located in DH's office/library/den near a space heater. They are so smart and so cute. Of course, this is only one of many comfy and cozy places they choose to nap.

# 339 Two

These two ladies were lounging in the MGM Grand Hotel Lion Habitat in spite of all the tourists gaping at them. Lions sleep 18-20 hours a day and this was part of their nap time. I think the trainers, who were also lounging in the enclosure with them (but fully awake) have to wake them up soon. Somewhere I read they rotate the cats out every five hours. The lionesses can't smell or hear any of the tourists and the temp and humidity inside the habitat is ideal for them. Life o' Riley, I say. Photo came out pretty well considering it was through glass.

I will be slowing down on Las Vegas trip photos soon, I promise. There was just so much going on. Had a great time in two short days.

#131 Gold

Probably not REAL gold but Leo, the MGM lion in the hotel lobby was very impressive. In spite of the obvious glitz, I liked him. I'm partial to cats of all sizes.

#78 Drink

Funny kitties. Simon MUST drink out of a glass which MUST be on the left hand side of the sink. Garfunkel also insists on the same glass but finds the bath tub an acceptable substitute.

They are so cute.

#287 Stripes

The boys don't sleep in the same place very often so this was a great photo opportunity. I love their stripes and ring tails. The horse blanket makes them even stripe-ier. The horse blanket has never seen a horse. We bought it on one of our trips to Arizona.

Simon, the gray one is 9 years old and weighs in at twenty pounds, give or take. His tummy doesn't have a dirty spot - it's just a spot. Garfunkel is the Orange One, three years old and "only" fifteen pounds. Everyone comments on how big they are. I guess we are used to it.

#5 Amazing

Garfunkel is a love sponge. I am continually amazed at how he trusts me to hold him and doesn't squirm, scratch, or struggle to get away. I love this cat.
