#40 Cement
A lot of cement was used to create the skate board park in Tautphaus Park, Idaho Falls, Idaho. As one adult man put it, "Why didn't they have these when we were kids?"
Funny, I was just watching a show today on the History Channel on the evolution of skateboarding. I guess the late 1970's drought in Southern California was responsible for skate parks. People were prohibited from putting water in their pools and the rest is history.
The answer to the question is because we would have killed ourselves, Have you ever tried riding one - I can't LOL
ReplyDeleteNow that is the way to stop the action...wow, awesome!
ReplyDeletevery cool action shot. We also would have ripped our pants because we would not be wearing them so low.

ReplyDeleteNice action on cement!
What a great action shot, and looks to be a very talented subject - I'd never have had the nerve to be this daring!
ReplyDeletePerfectly focused and centered--it says everything about the energy and enthusiam of the kid and his board.
