This fire hydrant gives a bang of color in my otherwise black and white world. If the sun had been shining . . .
My first thought of fulfilling color themes is flowers, which I may still do. However, I'm going to look for outdoor man-made items instead. We'll see how far I get.
a nice contrast to the stark background
ReplyDeleteI find it hard to get the white balance in snow, but it looks like you succeeded. That is white against red!
ReplyDeleteLove the contrast between the stark white snow and that candy apple red!
ReplyDeleteGood contrast and the white is perfect against the red.
ReplyDeletealways nice with some strong color in contrast to all the blackand white that surrounds us these days. Harder to fulfill the color challenges outside this season but you started off great!
ReplyDeleteIt is magic but think of our poor canine friends, so cold.
ReplyDeleteGreat, deep red. Definitely a nice contrast to all the snow.
ReplyDeleteThe red really pops in the snow. One beauty of the alternate/your own made up themes is revisiting or renaming themes.
ReplyDeleteThe contrast between the red and white is great.
ReplyDeleteI like how the dusting of snow helps define the dimensions of the hydrant. I don't see any yellow snow by it so it must not be well-used!!!
