These wind turbines are visible from town on a clear day but today I had to drive up close. There is a lot of discussion as to whether the turbines are a good thing or a bad thing "for the environment." I vote for good thing.
BTW: it was gently snowing so does that count as white-on-white-on-white? Oh yeah, I knew there would be another opportunity for "Three."
I like the composure of this shot. A lot of nice lines.
ReplyDeleteNice composition. They are probably a good thing...

I love the Polar bear and her cub!
ReplyDeleteI vote good thing too...our high school just put one of those in to lower costs...
ReplyDeleteI love the clean lines and the contrast between the white and the dirt...it gives this more depth!
I love these windmills. I understand people don't like to live near them though. Your shot is really interesting with the subdued tones.
ReplyDeleteVery nice! I wonder how it would look in B&W, to take the focus off the shot of color in the grass (unless that was your intent?)
ReplyDeleteI like your shot! I think they're good too as they are so much more pristine than dirty black smoke. Kind of fun to see the wind farms expand almost as if the first windmill is a living thing reproducing! Also fun to pass a windfarm at night with all the blinking lights--some in sequence, some not. Nice composition!
ReplyDeleteWhite on white is a tough theme, but this is definitely a good portrayal!
