Freemont Street Experience is just that - an experience. That's the actual name of the street which used to be "old" Las Vegas. This collage is my feeble attempt at capturing the light show. Imagine a three block long curved roof over the street. At night, every hour on the hour, there is a short light/music show. The images flash, swoosh, race and crash into your brain as you get a crick in your neck looking up. We were lucky to catch this psychedelic performance done to "American Pie" by Don McLean. That means is was an eight and half minute spectacle. I just kept clicking pictures.
The street is quite the community attraction, even for families who brought their children. Never a dull moment!
That really looks like fun! I really like the neon cowboy.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing, maybe one day we will go and see all that LV has to offer.
ReplyDeleteI think that I will have to check out the Fremont Street Experience someday! Your neon cowboy will certainly make people aware of the souvenirs etc.
ReplyDeletemust be delightful being there for a night or two, but living there forever, I guess, would not be very relaxing.
ReplyDeleteAn exciting holiday experience...thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteWell done, so hard to collage an "Experience"
ReplyDeleteYou did well to document sensory overload! It's nice to see the isolated cowboy too, for those of us that like to pause.
ReplyDeleteYou captured the excitement perfectly...the bright lights make us all look forward to that show!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like an interesting night out! Well put together.
