You have a most fortunate congregation. All we got at the church I went to was part of a thin wafer that stuck to the roof of your mouth. Is this any special kind of bread, like in the yeast or flour?
This is Honey Oatmeal Bread - a recipe from the bread machine booklet. I also have a whole wheat recipe. No one likes the wafers or "pellets" although they fulfill the leaven-free requirement. As you can see, we don't always have leaven-free communion bread.
Looks tasty - almost like a souffle.
ReplyDeleteThis does look warm and inviting for Communion!
ReplyDeleteI can smell the fresh from the oven aroma!

ReplyDeleteThe smell and sight of freshly baked bread is always a winner.
