#96 Family

A blast from the past - 1957 to be exact. Today is both my dad's and my sister's birthday. My sister is the younger one. This was taken near McArthur Park, Los Angeles, California by my professional photographer uncle. By the way, that's as close to a smile you'd ever get from my dad unless he was watching a Red Skelton TV show. Then he'd actually laugh out loud.

  1. Was this taken with Kodachrome? The colors seem so warm. Love your father's stylish hat. I know what you mean about father's laughing. My dad was pretty serious, yet Flip Wilson for some reason got him laughing. And Cheech and Chong, for some reason!

Hope no one left the cake out in the rain!

  2. the colors are great - and so is the hat. I would have picked you out even without knowing that you are the older one - just from your profile pic.
